Harry’s visa status came under scrutiny after Conservative think tank the Heritage Foundation alleged that he may have concealed illegal drug use that should have denied him a U.S. visa.
These suspicions arose after the father-of-two admitted in his memoir “Spare” to using cocaine, smoking marijuana, and experimenting with magic mushrooms as a teenager.
Citing his admission in their lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, the Heritage Foundation sought to have his visa records released as they argued that if he’d not detailed his drug use in it, his stay in the country could be rendered invalid.
